Labour are just not doing it. They are not delivering the fairness they always profess to be about, but I don't just think it is about appealing to Labour voters. We have to tackle environmental issues. We are the only party to have a coherent set of policies for real radical change to address climate change.

The main thing that distinguishes me from the other candidates is I'm young, I've not been on Barnet Council, and I think I bring in a new perspective to things in Barnet.

It annoys me that politics, in so much of the media, is about personalities. We are talking about electing a representative who is then going to go in and vote on decisions that affect Finchley and Golders Green and the whole country.

Especially talking to younger people, I do get the real feeling that they're energised, and that the reason that they're registering is because they're intending to vote differently and vote Lib Dem.

It's given people a real sense that they could have a real change. In the past the barrier that you've always had as a Lib Dem on the doorstep is that it's a wasted vote, especially in a constituency like this.
