Kakuro is a great logic and number puzzle from Japan, where it is even more popular than Sudoku! The aim is to complete the crossword style grid, but to fill it with numbers in accordance with the rules of kakuro.

Interactive Kakuro: Player Features We've just added lots of great features to our online kakuro player (March 2008). Now you can use our player to: Keep track of clue totals! So if you have a run that totals '24' off three cells, and you enter '8' in a cell, the player can automatically update the run total to '16' for you - makes the maths easier and helps you spot mistakes. Great for youngsters and those starting off with kakuro. Highlight mistakes as you make them Rate and comment on a puzzle Easily create pencilmarks - just by entering more than one number in a cell the size reduces automatically.
