Earthworm Jim is from the video game that stars an earthworm, and the name of that earthworm is unsurprisingly - you guessed it - Him.
What he does is wears a robotic suit and then fights against the forces of evil, just like any other cartoon or video game earthworm really. The game was a big hit on the MegaDrive and was apparently released in 1994 so a long time ago now - younger readers therefore may not actually remember or have heard of Earthworm Jim!
